Basic unit of lamellar armor consists of overlapping plates, typically made from steel or leather, providing flexibility and protection. Each plate is laced together, allowing for a secure fit.

Collar

The collar of the lamellar armor is crafted using traditional rope techniques and leather punching for connection. This method ensures durability and comfort while enhancing the armor's design.

Metal Plate

Crafting the metal plate for lamellar armor on the anvil involves heating and shaping steel into overlapping pieces. Each plate is carefully formed to ensure flexibility and strength.

Fur Sewing

Layers of fur are meticulously stitched together to provide both warmth and protection. This ensures comfort while preserving the armor's strength.

I learned about HEMA when i was researching Medieval armors and immediately became fascinated by the intricacies of combat techniques and the rich history behind them. It not only offers a glimpse into the past but also provides a unique physical challenge and a community of passionate practitioners.
